Back to the leak
About

No logos. A method instead.

We audit local service businesses across the United States and build the sites that fix what the audit finds. The person who audits your business is the person who does the work — nobody gets handed to an account manager.

Most agency websites open with a story about a founder having an epiphany, and a wall of client logos underneath it. We don't have the logos, so we're not going to build a page pretending otherwise.

What we have is a method and a tool. The audit measures the same five things for every business — where you rank in the map, what your Google profile says, how your reviews compare to the businesses beside you, how fast your site loads on a phone, and whether the AI assistants mention you at all. Then it works out what each gap is worth using your job value, not an industry average.

It costs nothing because we have nothing else to prove it with. A free report about your own business is a far better argument than a case study you can't verify. If it's useful, you'll know within ten minutes of reading it. If it isn't, you've lost nothing and we've lost an afternoon.

The plain facts
Deliberately small. The person who audits your business is the person who builds the fix.

The offer is new. We've run very few of these. That's exactly why the audit is free.
Only a few builds at a time. We'd rather cap the list than take on twenty and find out the hard way.
How we work

Four things we'd turn down work over.

These aren't values on a wall. Each one costs us money in a specific, predictable way, which is the only reason it's worth writing down.

01

Made-up numbers are worse than no numbers.

Every statistic on this site is published research by someone other than us, cited so you can check it. We don't publish an average leak figure, a revenue-recovered total, or a client count. A firm that invents its own statistics has no business auditing yours.

Costs us: a more impressive-looking homepage
02

You own it, including when you leave.

The domain goes in your name from day one, even when that's more work for us. Stop paying and we hand over the files and help you move them. Holding a client's site hostage is common in this industry and we think it's grim.

Costs us: the leverage most agencies rely on
03

Sometimes the answer is "don't hire us".

Plenty of problems are fixed by correcting a Google profile and asking customers for reviews — no new website required. When that's the case the audit says so, in writing, and we don't quote for a build.

Costs us: the projects that shouldn't exist
04

No call unless you want one.

The audit needs nothing from you but a business name and a town. No discovery call, no logins, no card. If you'd rather talk to a person first that's fine, but we're not going to pretend it's required in order to get you on a call.

Costs us: the chance to sell to you over the phone
Straight answers

What we can't tell you yet.

The questions a sensible buyer asks, answered honestly rather than avoided.

Two ways in

Judge us on your report.

Tell us your business name and the town you work in. Two days later you'll have a written teardown of where your customers are going instead — and you'll know whether we're any good.
